Pride concert series OUTLOUD to launch exclusively on Facebook

The award-winning live event production company JJ|LA has transformed the OUTLOUD Pride Artist Showcase that was scheduled to debut at this year’s South by Southwest® (SXSW®) festival into OUTLOUD: Raising Voices, a 10-episode, five-week concert series highlighting and elevating a diverse lineup of queer talent making an impact in the music industry. The series premieres May 26 and will be available exclusively on Facebook twice weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesday at 5PM PST/ 8PM EST on LGBTQ@Facebook, OUTLOUD’s Facebook page and the JJ|LA Facebook page and fans are encouraged to join the celebration using #WeAreOUTLOUD.

Helping kick off Pride celebrations worldwide, each episode of OUTLOUD: Raising Voices will also provide support to local Pride organizations that have seen their yearly fundraising festivals and events canceled in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. Viewers can donate directly using the Facebook donate button on the video to help support impacted communities directly, including Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix, and Washington D.C.

In the wake of the SXSW cancellation, Jeff Consoletti, Founder of JJ|LA, who originally conceived the live concert concept OUTLOUD with his business partner Artie Kenney, Founder of AKT Agency Inc., recognized the opportunity to transition to an impactful digital format that will allow for everyone to celebrate the 2020 Pride season. The first two episodes of OUTLOUD: Raising Voices, hosted by Grey’s Anatomy star Jake Borelli, will present some artists scheduled to perform at SXSW, including headliner Betty Who and featuring Madame Gandhi, Flavia, SWSH, Bang Bang Romeo, pineappleCITI, Pabllo Vittar, Ryan Cassata and Ariel View.

Future appearances & performances will include Kesha, Candis Cayne, Allie X, Vincint, Greyson Chance, The Aces, and Wrabel. Additional details will be announced weekly.
